Updated 2026: Story to Action Lab Partner, Tumaini for Refugee Women
In Uganda, our Lab focuses on the distinct challenges faced by displaced single mothers and female-headed households navigating both settlement environments and urban centers.
Working closely with our grassroots partners, we aim to document their realities, advocate for their rights, and provide pathways for economic and educational empowerment. Our research captures lived experiences at the intersection of policy, protection systems, and reality.
Tumaini for Refugee Women is our dedicated on-the-ground partner in Uganda. They work tirelessly to empower women, young girls, and youth in displacement to achieve their full potential through advocacy, skills training, and community support.
While we continue to build out our Uganda portfolio, you can discover more oral histories, partner spotlights, and field dispatches directly on our channel.
